A panmagic square is a magic square with the additional requirement that all broken diagonals sum to the magic constant.
An example would be
| 6 | 12 | 7 | 9
| 15 | 1 | 14 | 4
| 10 | 8 | 11 | 5
| 3 | 13 | 2 | 16
The magic constant of this square is 34. The broken diagonals (such as 12,14,5,3 and 12,15,5,2) all sum correctly.
