Pappu Sain is a master dhol (traditional Indian drum) player in Pakistan. He frequently plays at the Tomb of Shah Jamal in Lahore, Pakistan, but has taken his Sufi-style of drumming to Germany, Switzerland, and Britain, and has performed throughout the Muslim world. Shah Jamal, a 19th century saint, also used the drum and the dance to perpetuate Islam, and Sain performs at this site every Thursday without fail.
