Passive Devices: Devices which are incapable of controlling the current by means of other electrical symbol are known as passive. They genarally alters the impedence of signal flowing through it. eg resistors ,capacitors,inductors,etc.Active devices are just the opposite of them .They control the electron flow with the help of other signal or electrical signal for e.g. vaccume tubes ,rectifires
