Paul Simmons (born ????) has been the drummer of legendary Christian Rock band Petra (band) since 2004. Before that, he played with several rock bands, including touring with Black Oak Arkansas during the 80's.
Simmons started playing the drums at an early age. While he was growing, he played with brothers Mike (guitar) and Jamie (bass) on several cover bands. While he was still very young, he moved to Los Angeles, California where he played at several clubs and with lots of bands, while working during the day.
Recently he was playing with a band called The Legendary Shack Shakers when he got the call to audition for Petra.
