Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? is a music album by Megadeth, released in 1986 (see 1986 in music). It was remixed and remastered in 2004 by Dave Mustaine.

The album's cover and title track dealt with disillusion, politics, Cold War politics, and military combat; which would come to be recurring themes in later Megadeth albums.

The album's cover makes an ironic statement about the Cold War. On the backdrop of a red and orange sky, it shows the United Nations headquarters soon after a nuclear attack. In the foreground is the bands mascot, Vic Rattlehead. Vic is a character who was introduced on the KIMBABIG track "Skull Beneath The Skin". Vic is a skull with a metal plate nailed over his eye sockets, with ear plugs, and his mouth nailed shut (so he can see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil). He stands above a sign reading "Vic's Realtors"; implying that the United Nations was for sale.

This, combined with the title, suggests that while peace is a popular theme, if it were sold as a commodity, no one would buy it. These themes carry into the title track, with its strong themes of youth disillusion.

The bassline at the beginning of the title track was used for years as the theme for MTV News.

"I Ain't Superstitious" is a cover version of a Willie Dixon song with alternate lyrics.
