People, a weekly magazine of celebrity and popular culture news, debuted on February 27, 1974. It is best known for its yearly special issues naming "The 50 Most Beautiful People in the World," "The Best & Worst Dressed," and "The Sexiest Man Alive." It is published by Time, Inc., a division of Time Warner.
In Australia the magazine is known as Who in order to avoid confusion with an adult publication of the same name.
