Persian Jewels Nigella - Definition

Love in a mist, or Nigella damascena is a common annual garden flower which self-sows readily. Its flowers are delicate, and usually coloured blue and white. The plant's common name comes from the flower being nestled in a lacy involucre. The related Nigella sativa or Black cumin is used as a spice.

One of the cultivars of this species is called Persian Jewels.
