Peter Serafinowicz - Definition and Overview

Peter Serafinowicz (born 1972, Liverpool) is a British actor and voice artist.

He has worked on many BBC radio shows, often in comedic roles. He has performed adverts, impressions and characters, and has often worked with the popular comedy set of the early 1990s, including Armando Iannucci, Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, Steve Coogan, Simon Pegg, Peter Baynham and others.

His most notable role as a voice artist was as Darth Maul in the film Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, which was referenced in his recurring character of "Duane Benzey" in Spaced.

His other credits include, on television, Spaced, Look Around You (which he co-wrote and produced), World of Pub, Ted and Alice, Black Books, and Hardware; and on film, Shaun of the Dead. He was also in The Junkies, the world's first internet sitcom.
