Petroglyph Games is a game studio based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was formed in 2004 by a group of former Westwood Studios employees who lost their jobs when Electronic Arts merged Westwood Studios into their Los Angeles studios, and others who did not want to take new jobs in Los Angeles.
On June 25, 2004 they moved into their own building. On November 16, 2004 it was announced that the project they were working on and had been kept secret for a while was a new Star Wars real-time strategy game whish they plan to release sometime in 2005, called .
