Petrograd Soviet is the council set up in Petrograd (Saint Petersburg, Russia) as the representative body of the city's workers. After the 1917 February Revolution and collapse of the autocracy, this body, dominated by socialists, shared power with Alexander Kerensky's Provisional Government.
