Petru Groza

Petru Groza (December 7, 1884, Bacia - January 7, 1958, Bucharest) was a Romanian politician and the Prime Minister of the first Romanian communist government, from 1947 to 1952. In 1952 he was appointed to the largely ceremonial position of President, holding that position until his death in 1958.
