PhpStreamcast - Definition and Overview

phpStreamcast is an advanced web-frontend for build a web radio based on streamcast or stream-db, both streaming- (and playlist) engines for icecast.

Features

• support for both streamcast and stream-db
• supports all possible operations on streamcast server (currently this is: change playlist, add song request, skip current song, and some status, list or song informations)
• stream-db users can search playlist or browse through it, display results on seperated pages, or look at the song history
• seek in the current song (at least stream-db 0.8db5 required)
• enhanced caching system which reduces communication to streamcast's remote-console to a minimum
• skinnable!! change look&feel easily... (shipped default skin is optimized for Mozilla)
