phpWCMS is an open source web content management system.
It works on any web server platform that supports PHP with MySQL, having been successfully tested on Windows XP and 2000, Mac OS X, and Linux.
phpWCMS is easy to handle and it's backend is visually appealing. A site can be set up by novices in relatively short time, as the learning curve is not very steep compared to other systems like Typo3. Although it is very flexible and easily customizable, it is not as powerful and as easily extensible as others and is recommened for small and medium size sites. Instant help is available from an active community, and an extensive documentation site (http://www.phpwcms-docu.de) is available.
