The Pima are a group of Native Americans living in central and southern Arizona and what is now Mexico. Hailing from Uto-Aztecan lingual stock, they were visited very early by Spanish missionaries, and friendly to Anglos. Enemies of the Apache, they farmed by use of irrigation and are known for their basket weaving. Pimas of note
