Pixies at the BBC - Definition and Overview

Pixies at the BBC is a record by the rock band, Pixies. It was released in 1998 and recorded between 1988 and 1991 at the BBC. All tracks were written by Frank Black (aka Black Francis) except tracks 1 and 15. The album is characterised by its raw, underproduced sound.

1. "Wild Honey Pie" - Recorded for the John Peel show, May 3rd 1988, first transmitted May 16th 1988. Written by Beatles members John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

8. "Down to the Well" - Recorded for the John Peel show, April 16th 1989, first transmitted May 2nd 1989.
