Plateia (πλατεία) is the Greek word for town square. Most Greek and Cypriot cities have one or several town squares.

- Monastiraki, Omonia, and Syntagma Squares (Constitution Square) all three in Athens
- Plateia Amerikis - suburban Athens
- Plateia Syntagmatos - Nafplio
- Georgiou II Square (George II Square), Olga Square Plateia Olgas - all in Patras
- Agias Mimas Square - Spetses
- Kennedy Square, and two others - Tripoli
