Polydeuces (moon) - Definition and Overview

Polydeuces (provisional designation S/2004 S 5) is a natural satellite of Saturn that was discovered on images taken on October 21, 2004 by the Cassini probe team, led by Carolyn C. Porco et al. The only other images available were taken on November 2, so the orbit is very uncertain at this point. It orbits between 260 and 310 Mm from Saturn, and could very well be a Dione co-orbital. Its diametre is estimated at about 5 km.
