Portland Beavers - Definition

The Portland Beavers (a minor league baseball team which plays in Portland, Oregon), along with the Los Angeles Angels, Oakland Oaks, and San Francisco Seals, were charter members of the Pacific Coast League which was founded in 1903. It is the only team left from the original four PCL teams (even though they've left and came back a few times).

The current Portland Beavers play in renovated PGE Park and are the AAA affiliates of the San Diego Padres.
