Prime Minister of Quebec - Definition and Overview

The Premier of Quebec (in French Premier ministre du Québec, sometimes literally translated to Prime Minister of Quebec) is the first minister for the Canadian province of Quebec. The Premier is the province's head of government and de facto chief executive.

The current Premier of Quebec is Jean Charest.
