Princeton Seminary is located in Princeton, New Jersey and was originally a school of Princeton University. The seminary was founded in 1812 and made famous during the 19th and early 20th centuries for its defense of Calvinistic Presbyterianism. The college was the center of a modernist/fundamentalist battle which ultimately led to the formation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and Westminster Theological Seminary. The seminary remains a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA)
