Progressive Judaism is a reforming Jewish movement within Israel which is to a certain extent distinct from Reform Judaism. However, since Progressive Judaism has some kind of official recognition in Israel, Reform (& Liberal) Jewish movements around the world outside of Israel often try to include themselves under the same umbrella term.
