The Pummelo (Citrus maxima) or Shaddock is a citrus fruit, usually a pale green when ripe, larger than a grapefruit, with sweet flesh and thick spongy rind. The grapefruit is a cross between the pummelo and the orange.

The pomelo has a name that sounds similiar to the pummelo, and is often confused with the pummelo. However, it is a cross between the grapefruit and the pummelo.
