Punggol - Definition

Punggol is a neighborhood in northeastern Singapore. Presently, Punggol is not very densely populated (as compared to other areas of Singapore) but there are plans to develop a major residential area. Punggol is also the terminus of the North-East Line of Singapore's metro system, the Mass Rapid Transit. Punggol will also be the site for the Punggol LRT Line, which will be completed in 2005.
