The Q-bus (also known as the LSI-11 Bus) was one of several bus technologies used with PDP systems manufactured by the Digital Equipment Corporation of Maynard, Massachusetts.
The Q-bus was initially a less expensive version of Unibus except that Q-bus used multiplexing so that address and data signals shared the same wires. The operation of Unibus was extended with Massbus but this was not possible with the cheaper Q-Bus. For this reason some interesting block transfer modes were added to the Q-bus as well as support for 22 address lines.
