Quantitative Analysis Software (Finance) - Definition 

Quantitative Analysis Software is a relatively new method of investing which uses computerized Artificial Intelligence algorithms to make decisions on the buying or selling of stocks, bonds, or other financial assets. Usually managers monitor the software's decisions and can decide to override it. Quantitative investing is sometimes abbreviated as "quant".
