Queen II is a rock album by British band Queen originally released in 1974. The album was recorded at Trident Studios, United Kingdom, and engineeed by Mike Stone. The LP used 'Side White' and 'Side Black' instead of Sides A & B, whith corresponding photos of the band dressed all in white and all in black.

Side White was written mostly by Brian May, with one track contibuted by Roger Taylor. Side White is very diverse musically, ranging from ballads to Heavy Metal. Side Black meanwhile is very eccentric musically, with a lot of Heavy Metal, ballads, and strangely, a harpsichord-driven song, titled "The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke", inspired by the painting of the same name by Richard Dadd.

Lyrically, the album is mostly influenced by medieval fantasy but also contains songs about romance.
