Queens Center - Definition and Overview

Queens Center is an urban shopping mall in the Elmhurst section of Queens, a borough of New York City. It is located at the intersection of Queens and Woodhaven boulevards, two of the borough's busiest streets. It is also close to the busy Long Island Expressway.

In 2002, a massive renovation of the mall took place. When it was completed in 2004, the mall nearly doubled in size, adding anothing wing across the street from the original mall.

Its flagship stores are Macy's and J.C. Penney.
