The Quiff, also known as a Flat Top in Europe, is a combination of the 50s style pompadour, the 50s style flat top and sometimes a mohawk. It became a popular hairstyle in europe in the early 80s with early psychobilly acts, The Meteors, Demented are Go and others.
For a while, DJ and TV presenter Mark Lamarr was a famous proponent of the quiff.
