Quistis Trepe is one of the main characters in Squaresoft's RPG Final Fantasy VIII. She is an instructor at Balamb Garden, where Squall Leonhart, Zell Dincht, and Seifer Almasy are all students. She became a SeeD at the unusually young age of 15, and was made an instructor two years later. She is 18 at the start of the game. She is widely admired by the students at Balamb Garden, and even has a fan club known as the "Trepies".
In terms of personality, Quistis is fairly insecure and prone to depression, although she does have a more lighthearted side. At the beginning of the game, she has an unrequited crush on Squall.
In battle, Quistis uses a chain whip, and her limit break is Blue Magic.
