RPG-29 - Definition

The RPG-29 is the current Russian anti-tank rocket propelled grenade launcher.

Description

The RPG-29 is a tube style rocket launcher designed to be carried and used by a single soldier. The tube is fitted on top with the optical aiming system, and underneath with a shoulder brace for proper positioning along with a pistol grip trigger mechanism.

The weapon is designed to target enemy vehicles including tanks, as well as enemy fortified positions such as bunkers and urban targets. Unlike some earlier RPG weapons, the RPG-29 does not provide for use of an anti-personnel round.
