RailCorp is part of the New South Wales Railways. It owns and maintains the Sydney metropolitan rail network CityRail and rural passenger services CountryLink. It also provides freight operators with access to the rails of the Sydney metropolitan area.
It is wholly owned by the government of New South Wales.
