Rashaan Patterson is best known for portraying "The Kid" on the popular 1980s television show "Kids Incorporated." As an adult he makes his living as a backup vocalist and did, in fact, release two solo albums to critical praise (if not commercial success.) He is a long-time lover of singer Tevin Campbell and has co-written most of Campbell's recent material.
