Reading Capital - Definition

'Reading Capital' is a 1970 work by dominant structuralist Marxist Louis Althusser and students Etienne Balibur and Ben Brewster.

Wrote to clarify differences between Marx's and Hegel's dialectics, and to more throroughly demarcate the break of Marx's later writings(Marxism proper) with his early writings. And, furthermore, to re-establish Marxism, albeit it, in a structuralist fashion, against its years of dilution from not only critiques(humanist and Sartrean ones, particularly) but also from the supposedly socialist philosophy of popular liberal-socialist democratic writing and politics.
