Red Stripe is a Jamaican lager-style beer whose logo is a bold, diagonal red stripe. It was originally brewed by the Desnoes and Geddes company, but in 1993, that company was purchased by the well-known makers of Guinness Stout.
Other uses
Wings once recorded a single, "Seaside Woman", as the band "Suzy and the Red Stripes", taking their name from the beer brand. The part of "Suzy" was sung by Linda McCartney, who was fronting the band for the song.
