The Research Science Institute (RSI) is a highly competitive research program for rising high school seniors around the world, sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Education and hosted by MIT and Caltech. Approximately 75 students from around the world participate in a 6 week summer program where they attend college-level classes and conduct mentored research. Alums of RSI traditionally perform extremely well in science competitions such as the Intel Science Talent Search and the Siemens Westinghouse Competition.
