A UK Restricted Service Licence (often called an RSL), is granted by British broadcasting authorities to radio stations serving a local community or a special event. They are usually issued for a very short duration and for very low power.

A number of licensed 28-day RSL (Restricted Service Licence) broadcasts have been granted to Radio Caroline which operates from both the MV Ross Revenge in dock and from land based studios in Maidstone, Kent, England.
