Resurrection Catholic Church is a parish in the Archdiocese of Dubuque. The parish is located in Dubuque, Iowa. The parish is located near the border between Dubuque and Asbury, Iowa.
Originally, the parish was known as St. Philomena's Church. The parish was originally located in a church building about 1/2 mile west of the current location. In the 1980s, the new, present church was built at its current location. At this time, the parish was renamed as the Church of the Resurrection. Due to its location on the west end of Dubuque, the parish is one of the larger and faster growing parishes.
A recent notable event was the visit of John Kerry when he attended Sunday Mass on July 4, 2004.
