The Reuben Award is an award given by the National Cartoonists Society for print cartoonists, primarily comic strips, often compared the Academy Awards in its stature. The first award was given in 1946.
For Better or For Worse cartoonist Lynn Johnston was the first female cartoonist to win this award, in 1985.
