Rexdale is a neighbourhood in the northern part of Etobicoke, part of the city of Toronto, Canada. Rexdale is bordered by Islington Avenue to east, Highway 427 to the west, Steeles Avenue to the north and Highway 401 to the south. Rexdale is home to a large Black and East Indian community. Rexdale is home to Humber College, as well as the Woodbine Racetrack. Rexdale houses a very large manufacturing district which employs thousands of people.
It was developed in the 1950s by Rex Heslop, for whom it is named.
