Rhodar is a fictional character in David Eddings' fantasy series The Belgariad and The Malloreon. He is the King of Drasnia.
Rhodar weighs as much as three men and eats all the time, yet he is the shrewdest Alorn king, strategizing much of the political and military maneuvers in The Belgariad. He dies from his weight and health problems in The Malloreon, leaving the throne to his young son Kheva, whose mother Porenn acts as regent.
