Richard III (1955 movie) - Definition |
Richard III is a 1955 British movie, directed by and starring Laurence Olivier. It is a film adaptation of William Shakespeare's play Richard III, also containing elements of Shakespeare's Henry VI: Part III.
As detailed in his autobiography, Rotten: No Blacks, No Irish, No Dogs, Olivier's memorably theatrical performance as the frankly villainous, hunchbacked King would become a great influence on punk icon Johnny Rotten.
