Rio Verde is a census-designated place located in Maricopa County, Arizona. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 1,419.

Geography

Rio Verde is located at 33°43'20" North, 111°40'36" West (33.722236, -111.676673)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 14.0 km² (5.4 mi²). 14.0 km² (5.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 1,419 people, 761 households, and 634 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 101.1/km² (261.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 99.65% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 0.07% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.07% from other races, and 0.07% from two or more races. 0.28% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
