Rippowam high shool existed at the Rippowam campus iin Stamford, CT. The campus was later use by Rippowam magnet middle school. In 2000, the Academy of information technology (or AIT) started, sharing the building with the Rippowam magnet middle school. Rippowam magnet middle moved to a new campus on Scofield Town road in 2001. It used to be used by UCONN. After Rippowam magnet middle left, a new middle school, Rippowam middle school moved in after. The new middle school is multi district and has about 1000 students. It occupies the first floor which is significantly larger than the second floor as well as about one third of the second floor. AIT has over 300 students. Rippowam middle also has almost exclusive use of the gym and auditorium.
