River Wye, Buckinghamshire - Definition and Overview

The River Wye in Buckinghamshire is a river that rises in the Chiltern Hills of Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom and flows through High Wycombe on its way down to Bourne End, where it meets the River Thames.

Through part of High Wycombe the river now runs completely underground. The town is partly named after the river.
