Rob Hirst is an Australian musician. From the 1970s until 2002 he played Drums for rock band Midnight Oil. He was also involved in a number of side projects, such as The Ghostwriters (with Rick Grossman of Hoodoo Gurus fame), and continues to play drums for The Backsliders, an Australian Blues group.
