Robert Kelly "Rob" Thomas (born February 14, 1972) is the lead singer of the band Matchbox Twenty. Thomas is also known for singing on the Carlos Santana hit "Smooth", on the album Supernatural, in 1999. He has been married to Marisol Maldonado since 1999, and has a son named Maison Avery from a former relationship. In 2005, he released a solo album, which featured the hit song "Lonely No More."
