Rockaway Inlet is a strait connecting Jamaica Bay, wholly within New York City with the Atlantic Ocean. It separates the Rockaway Peninsula in Queens from the Marine Park area of Brooklyn.
It is bridged by the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge.
