Rokkasho (六ヶ所村; Rokkashomura) is a village located in Kamikita District, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
In 2003 the village had an estimated population of 12,134 and a population density of 47.96 persons per km². The total area of the village is 253.01 km².
Rokkasho is currently being considered to host the plasma fusion reactor ITER. The Rokkasho ITER (http://www.pref.aomori.jp/iter/) page has more information.
