Rokosz - Definition and Overview

Rokosz was a privilege of szlachta in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to refuse the King's orders and legally act against him if the monarch were to break the laws and privileges of the szlachta.

Rokosz was introduced as a law by Henrician Articles in 1573.
