Ronse (French: Renaix) is a municipality located in the Flemish province of East Flanders, in Belgium. The municipality only comprises the city of Ronse proper. On January 1st, 2004 Ronse had a total population of 23,827 (11,554 males and 12,273 females). The total area is 34.48 km² which gives a population density of 691.00 inhabitants per km².
